Gas EOR Project 4: Laboratory Evaluation of Mobility Control Techniques

The goal of this project is to evaluate various mobility control technologies in a laboratory-scale multidimensional model. High pressure, multi-layer, quarter 5-spot models will be built. Water-alternating-gas, foam, and nanoemulsions will be used in tertiary gas floods. Sweep efficiency of ROZ oil will be studied. Experimental data will be modeled by existing compositional models and calibrated models will be developed.
