Acquiring UTCHEM
UTCHEM-GUI 9.82 is currently available for download free of charge. This version of the program has been run extensively on computers running the Windows NT, 2000, and XP operating systems.
Please note: The UTCHEM-GUI program will not run on some (most?) systems running Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. We don't know why that is. Part of the problem is that Microsoft dropped support for the graphics engine (GRID32.OCX) used by the UTCHEM-GUI program. However, the program still runs on some computers using the newer Windows operating systems. UTCHEM, without the GUI front-end, will run on all Windows operating systems.
UPDATE: We have found an easy fix for some users wishing to run the UTCHEM-GUI on Windows 7 systems. Please see the Windows 7 Usage Note for details.

If you would like to download the latest version of UTCHEM, the FORTRAN source code for the program, or a version of UTCHEM that generates Kraken-compatible output files, please fill out the UTCHEM Information Request Form. A message containing download instructions will be sent to the email address you provide.
